Rudi Stahl
After his apperentship at Wim Mühlendyck´s workshop Rudi Stahl graduated at the State School of Ceramics in Höhr-Grenzhausen. Afterwards he worked in different factories and founded in 1940 his own workshop in Höhr-Grenzhausen. In 1942 he passed the masters examination and was later foreman of the pottery guild of Rheinland-Pfalz. Regardless of the orientation of the traditional Westerwald ceramic his in small series hand made products reveal especially in the form of design quite a significant relationship to contemporary modern trends.
