Ludwig Klopfer, Mehring

(1924-1977) grandson of the potter Johann Lipp. After completing his apprenticeship in the family-owned company, he attended the State Ceramic Technical School in Landshut, passed the master craftsman examination there as a ceramist and took over the management of the Mehringer art pottery Johann Lipp. His sculptural work was influenced by Max Laeuger.
